1. Pursuant to the provision set out in Article 54 of the National Taiwan University organizational regulations, a “National Taiwan University Student Affairs Regulation Research Group” has been established (hereafter referred to as the Group) and this procedure set out.

2. The Group is responsible for setting or amending the relevant regulations or measures about students’ rights and obligations. The completed student affairs regulations or measures researched by the Group shall be submitted to the Student Assistance Commission for consideration.

3.In addition to the Dean of Student Affairs being the ex officio committee, the remaining committee of this group will consists of one professor from each of the faculty and from the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. One student each is assigned from the Student Agent, Student Association and NTU Graduate Student Association. These personnel are all appointed by the President of the University.

4. If there is a need for setting or amending the special regulations or measures, it is required to invite between three to five relevant student representatives to attend the meetings. If necessary, depending on the agenda, relevant staff must be invited to attend. The term of office of the committees is one year and reappointment is possible. The Chairman of this Group is elected from among the committees and is eligible for re-election. A secretary is appointed with the person in charge of the business of the Office of Student Affairs holding a concurrent post.

5. The Group shall hold meetings depending on the actual needs on an ad hoc basis.

6. This procedure will be operative from the date of announcement upon the approval of the Student Assistance Committee and the Executive Council.
